God's Purpose For The Church
What is the Biblical purpose for the Church? The church is many things: family, fellowship, friends, service etc, but what is its purpose? Rev. 17:7-9 speaks of the marriage supper of the Lamb. Verse 7 describes the (Bride) The Church. The purpose of The Church is to become the Wife of Christ. The scripture says that a husband and wife become one flesh; The Church becomes the body of Christ.
Matt. 7 refutes the theory that all will go to heaven. This passage refers to two gates: a narrow gate that leads to eternal life, a broad gate that leads to destruction.
